Global Healthcare Innovation Center(GHIC) was founded by Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute, to match global innovative medical technologies and resources, facilitate technology transfer, help commercialize innovative technologies including medical instruments, diagnose, and service, and provide all-round support for the early-stage enterprises as an incubator platform. The platform focuses on the field of life sciences, and backed with the resources of universities, research institutes, and large enterprises, providing professional services, facilitating the development and commercialization of innovative technologies.

At present, the Global Healthcare Innovation Center has incubated a number of high-tech enterprises covering the industry of optics, ophthalmology diagnosis, precision imaging, cell therapy, medical testing, cardiac defibrillation protection, neurorehabilitation, and medical robots. Platform-based experimental environment and professional services enable rapid incubation of innovative medical instrument companies.
